Help!!! 2002 Ranger Headlights turn off while driving

Hi

I have a problem with my headlights turning off while I’m driving I have 2002 ford ranger xlt automatic 4.0. I keep driving around for 5-10 min and the headlight turn off. I pullback on the high beams and they come on for a couple of sec and then shut off again. I replace the headlight switch and headlight bulbs but it keeps on doing it. There is no fuses burnt check all the fuses. I read somewhere by changing out the Miltifunction switch can fix the issue I would rather get advice before doing this. Please help.

"I pullback on the high beams and they come on for a couple of sec"
Points to the MultiSwitch as the problem.

I will go ahead and replace the multiswitch does it have to be from motorcraft? I will keep updating on the process.

If its JUST the high beams then yes multi-function switch for sure

If low beams are shutting off it can also be multi-function....OR Main light switch

High beam power doesn't come from main light switch, its from a full time fuse direct to multi-function switch

Low beam power comes from Main light switch and goes to multi-function switch
