Ignition Fuse blowing ?
On my 92 Explorer, I'm having trouble with the 60Amp. ignition fuse blowing. It kills the ignition at random times. I have a new alternator and battery, just rebuilt the heads and dont seem to have any wires shorted in obvious places. Ant thoughts on where this could be shorting??
I don't have Explorer wiring diagrams
But a 60amp fuse, I assume in the engine bay fuse box??, would power several other fuses in the cab fuse box, that's what a wiring diagram would tell you, which other fuses it powers, but.....................
I would expect one of those fuse to blow FIRST
If this 60amp fuse is for the ignition switch itself, under steering column, then I would suspect the ignition switch itself, if no other fuses are blowing, replace it
