Icon3 I'm new here..Air Bag Flashing. Help if possible

Hey all, I'm new here...

Have a 2001 Ford Ranger. Air Bag light has been coming on during the past couple of weeks. Flashes 3 times, pauses, flashes 6 times, pauses, flashes 4 times and then repeats the same process for about 30 more seconds, stops, then goes to a solid light. Could it be a bad sensor? Connectors for the seat belts?

I read a few posts here and can't really nail what it is, Any ideas?

Regards,
Brian

I believe it is is giving you a code but I'm not sure what the codes are for the airbag system.

Incorrect resistance on the seatbelt pretensioner circuit (code 46 driver side, code 47 passenger side). It is a common problem and is usually caused by a poor connection under the seat. Turn off the ignition, open the connector, clean the pins and reassemble. Applying dielectric grease to the pins should make the repair last longer. In rare cases, the connector might need to be replaced.

It is a good idea to avoid storing things under the seats because contact with the connectors can sometimes trigger the problem.
