Innertia switch problems?

Well here lately my truck has been throwing codes for misfire on cylinder #4. Changed the plugs and wires as well as the fuel filter. Still throwing codes. The truck never misfires while driving just while at idle. Most of the time the check engine light starts flashing then keeps the engine light on for acouple of days afterwards.

Well the other day i was sitting in the parking lot at the college and the truck just died. Nothing I did would make it crank. Well hauled it to the ford place to get a call saying the innertia switch came unplugged. Well ok so a friend might have pushed it and unplugged it while riding that makes since. Well a week later I was driving down the road and it was stalling BAD till it finally died. Went and checked the innertia switch and when i puhed on the plug it made a "click" noise and the truck cranked back up. Well I took it to the ford place to hear "put a zip tie around it."

Could this be one of my misfiring problems cause the innertia switch is coming loose and starving the engine for fuel causing a misfire? At first it was #1 and 4 and random misfires then now it's only #4. This thing is killing me.

nah cuz even if it was the fuel, the plug would still fire, you just wouldnt have any boom since theres no fuel. if you changed the plugs and wires, i say change out the coil, and replace the inertia switch

The thing is it's not right. When at idle it starts misfiring so it shouldn't be the coil but i'll do some test to make sure.
