Iridium Plugs
Iridium Plugs
Would there be a concern{as someone suggested} in putting double iridium plugs in 2001 b3000. They come pre-gapped which is wide. The electrode is small as well. Would it be better to go with standard copper. Apparently the concern is the electrical system might not be able to jump that gap and the "juice" would come back thru damaging the system. I don't know; is this way off base or something to consider?
The B3000 denotes the engine displacement on the Mazda's so it is a 3 litre. FYI
Those plugs will work.
If you use copper, they won't last long, the copper erodes quite quickly when compared to double iridium or double platinum plugs.
The electrical system is meant to jump the big gap.

'Alright, thank-you, sir.' preciate it. Somebody put doubt in my head and wanted to check. Right thought the truck no. was related to eng. There is a 2500 and 4000 as well I'm sure you know.. Will be changing wires and putting iridiums in.
