I've come to a conclusion

I really regret some of the wiring I've done on this truck...
I'm curious if there is a way to solder some of the connections I hacked up recently trying to install a dome light...
can any of you electric gurus suggest a decent wireless/portable soldering gun with a gun that shrink wraps the connections?

Cornwell makes a nice butane one, but I don't know where you could get your hands on one.

hacked up soldering problem

try one of the new cold heat soldering guns they go for about $20.00 they do work great and there portable. i am not sure though if they will generate enough heat to shrink the heat wrap i am assuming you want to use instead of black tape GOOD LUCK

basically I'm gonna pick up one of those shrink tube guns, that'll do the trick!
