LED Replacements
You cant use "just the bulbs"
you need the backings of the tail lights, the bulbs, and the harnesses..
See Shane's thread for grueling details on how to install them.
I have a few L1224R setups left, but I may not want to sell them just yet as I may want to keep them for my future vehicles. I do not know yet.

My stock domelight had 1 bulb in it. I wired in 2 LED arrays.
I don't know what your talking about a "back" dome light?
I bought the LED's from ebay... I think? SMT arrays are the shnit!
I would like to get one of those Lexus 3rd brakelight mods (all done). Would you make one for me? I PM'ed you asking for pics before I saw these. JUst let me know the cost and if I can pay by paypal. Thanks JP7.
It is NOT a hard mod. All you need is a dremel, some hot glue or epoxy and some patience.
And interior dome. There's only 2 bulbs in there stock?

I can make one, but it takes a few hours. I will need you to send me your stock light so I can mod it. This means you will have nothing for a few days while I do the mod. Maybe you have another vehicle?

I hope he gets some more...or wants to part with the ones he still has left over. Sounds like a line is starting to grow for these!!
No. They are the little bastards found on 04+ clusters. I've found out that the temp controls can come with 194's or those tiny bastards. IDK the number. BUT...if you've alreayd ordered your LED's for it, you can do what I did...I simply figured out which side was positive, then I soldered the 194 plug-in LED's into the temp control/hvac control panel.
let me do some searching for ya...hang on...

You misread what I typed....03 and older gauge clusters use 194s. 04+ use littlebastards that I think are 74's. Your heater/a/c controls use either a 194 or a 74...and if 194 is too big, you must have 74's down there.
If you've got plug in 194's that were meant for down there, you can figure out which little wire wrapped around the base is positive and which is negative. Then figure out which 'pad' is pos and neg on the heater controls using a test light. Solder the matching polaritys together(bulb and the control panel), and it should work perfectly. I ran that set up a long time ago before I put the 9 5mm LED's in those heater controls. I could even aim the 194's to illuminate evenly.

Ok so i can either try the 194's if they fit, if not make them ( re wire) or wire up 5mm LED's which are kind of a pain but can be done. I have like 90 LED's LEft. Do you just drill a hole through the back wherever you want to put a LED then just like silicone it in place?
I was under the impression that 194 is way to large for your truck in that spot, that's why i'm suggesting soldering the leads the console assuming you've already ordered led 194's.
Have you seen the 'how to LED mod and paint your gauges' thread? It covers my gauges and my hvac controls(current setup)...
