I have all the components to do the exhaust in my garage, I am wanting to do a lightning style side exhaust where it comes out before the rear wheel. I have not done this yet because my b-day is coming up and I knew I would have emitions and I had heard that if the exhaust is to new you will fail. So I went and got it done today and the guy was like thats a pretty cool ranger and I was like yeah now I can do my new exhaust because I have passed. He asked me well what kind of exhaust do you want to do and I told him and he said that if I did it that way that I couldn't get my truck tested the next year because the truck has to go on the dino thing and have the wand up the exhaust pipe and if the pipe was before the rear wheel that they can't do it because it wire that is attached may get cought in the wheels going under the truck and they can't go around back because the truck is running and it can get stuck in the machine or wheels. So the question is, is there anyone with this style exhaust on a pre 96 and have any problems with emitions?
