Icon3 locks and ghetto area. need alarm help?

so after another kids key will open my truck, and a sick way you can break into my truck i want to put an alarm it so at least something happends when they open my doors to hopefully scare them off. I like my subs, amp, $400 deck, sat radio, navigation and so on.

So i alretty have a 2 way auto starter , but it didnt come with any kind of alarm, just start and unlock/lock.

im thinking of just a cheepie alarm off ebay, i know alot of people are going to say there cheap and so on, but im on a tight budget and dont need anything to exspensive its just a little truck, and the egnition still has an alarm so u cant steal it that way, just want to keep ****** out .

so would i be able to wire one of these in? i did my own deck and sub and that kind of thing, led's and signal/ mirror lights and so on. how complicated would this be? i dont want to really wreak anything but would i be exsperience enough to do it and how long would it take?

also i like the idea of auto window up, do i'll either go with an alarm that does that or get the seperate unit.

so here's what i was thinking of

NEW! Car/Truck/SUV Alarm/Security System/Keyless Entry - (eBay.ca item 350201440336 end time 19-May-09 23:00:22 EDT)

or another with this added on AUTO POWER 4 WINDOW ROLL UP MODULE CAR ALARM new 1 - (eBay.ca item 130257965894 end time 22-May-09 1832 EDT)

or this one looks great

K9 Mundial 3 CAR ALARM WITH KEYLESS ENTRY- NEW! - (eBay.ca item 130307381458 end time 25-May-09 1706 EDT)

anyone else have any idea's for systems i could use for cheap?

is the fact that my factory alarm is by passed for the auto start going ot affect anything?

You should be able to go any basic alarm with a siren, the wiring shouldn't be too bad.

what i would do is buy a 2 way alarm/security/starter the same brand as the one u have and just swap the brains out and add the siren and shock sensor... all the wiring done already should pull and play as long as the brands are the same. then just sell the old unit.

I got my viper 2 way alarm/remote start off ebay for $175. It was a refurb system from Viper. The alarm wiring was a piece of cake. It was the remote start/door locks that was a pain.

As for the alarm, mine has a shock sensor, and it senses if the dome light is turned on. So if your door is opened the dome light comes on and the alarm goes off.

The switch under the bumper will keep the alarm from going off whenever you open the door yourself. I am looking into getting something set up in mine as well my friends got broke into a few nights ago. I have a remote start but its a one way that was on it when i got the truck so i might just go get a whole new setup with alarm and 2-way start.

can you use those little clip things that you put the two wire in and they connect them without stipping or soddering wires, when it goes to alarms?

just so you can quickly tie the alarm wires onto the trucks wireing?

Yeah, the only thing you shouldn't use those for is stuff that carries a lot of current, like headlight wires and such.
