Icon3 Low beams went out, then high beams

I have a 2011 ranger. A few months back both my low beams went out at the same time. Just a few days ago, both my high beams went too. I have no more headlights and as you can imagine it is a problem. The bulbs are fine, the fuses are fine and the relay is fine. Anyone have any idea as to what the problem could be? I have been told the multifunction could be the culprit but I do not see how. I moved it around and it feels fine, unless its a connection issue. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. I drive quite a bit for my professional so it is a real bother. Thank you, guys.

There is just the one headlight fuse, cab fuse box #23, 30amp, Hot at all times, not key on fuse
There are 2 low beam fuses, #3 and #4, but they are powered by Fuse 23
High beams use fuse #14 also powered by fuse 23

High beam 12volts goes directly to Multi-function switch, this allows "Flash to Pass" to work all the time, even with key OFF, then 12v passes to fuse #14 and out to bulbs

Low beams get 12volts when Main headlight switch is turned ON, but..................the 12v goes thru the Multi-function switch to fuses #3 and #4 and out to the bulbs
Reason is, low beams are turned off if you turn on high beams full time by pushing the Multi-function switch stick forward

So yes BOTH high and low beams could be effected by a bad Multi-function switch

And Both could be effected by a bad Smart Junction Box(SJB) as well, although not as likely, and it would usually be the larger connectors on SJB that are the issue, they get corroded and need to be clean, not hard to do

This is a 2009 diagram and EXACTLY the same as 2011 just way easier to follow than the 2011 version

Thank you for this great answer. I have ordered a new switch and plan to install it once it arrives. I hope that is the solution. In all honesty, I took it to a mechanic who I was unfamiliar with and did not trust. When he came back to me and said a multifunction switch needed to be replaced to the tune of $610 I balked and left. His diagnostic notes did say an electrical problem was found between the SJB and the MFS. I didn't trust him but I guess I was wrong. He said replacing the the MSJ would solve the problem.

When you have the MFS out you can test the wires on its connector

The white/red wire has 12volts all the time from fuse 23, if you use a jumper from that wire to Green/Brown wire, your high beams should come on, if not check use 14

Then turn on Main Light switch, use jumper from Brown/white wire to Blue/white wire and low beams should come on, if not try jumper from the above white/red wire to Blue/white wire, if low beams come on now then Main Light switch also need to be replaced, or check fuses 3 and 4
