Icon5 Manual to Power windows

What is needed to swap in stock power windows/locks into my manual window/lock truck? does it just plug it or what is involved in doing this?

The easiest way is to swap power doors and change the dash harness and possibly the underhood harness. That makes it plug and play. It is possible to build your own add on harness to go with fatory doors or buy an aftermarket kit.

Then is it easier to use after market kits for the pwr wdws and the pwr lock if you want to keep your existing doors ?

I have never done an aftermarket kit, just be careful about quaility. I have heard some are slow.
