Mass Air Flow
I'm sure there are ways to test it, but the way I've always done it was to unplug it while the engine is running to see if it changes. If it does, then the sensor is prob good an is doing it's job. If it doesn't change then most likely the sensor is bad. But that's not always the case. That sensor could be getting bad info from the sensor that is bad which in turn would give the ECM bad info!!
***K , my MAF just started givin me trouble tonight , about an hour ago. Went to the bank, then tryed starting my truck , took three trys, then chugged all the way home , then disconnected it , reved it up a few times, plugged her back in and now it runns mint
