My truck fell off the jack... is it okay?

So today I had planned to replace my front shock absorbers. Had all my tools and everything staged. I chalked the wheels put the parking brake on and put it in first gear. Everything is normal and I begin to jack up on the front crossmembers with a duralast trolley jack, I almost have the jack maxed out and do one more little pump to get the truck high enough to fit the stands. When the jack shoots out and the front of the truck comes crashing down. I stood there in shock for a moment and then checked for damage. I couldn't see anything obvious, but im worried I might have broke something. Can a ranger withstand the front end being dropped like that?

If the tires were still on properly, I can't see how it could damage anything.

As long as the jack didn't damage anything on its way out, you should have no problem. Driving through a deep pot hole should be worse.

Okay thanks guys! I ended up investing in a big red 12 ton bottle jack and it got the truck jacked up properly. Changed the shocks and got a really good look at everything while I was down there. It seems to be driving normally. Im definitely going to be even more careful lifting since this happened. Even with a good plan and tools things can still go wrong.
