Icon5 New LED lights flashing for turn signal, but not emergency flashers

I put after market LED headlights with sequential signals a year and a half ago and I love the look! But a couple weeks ago the right turn signal on my 2011 Sport was quick flashing. I thought it might be a bulb or loose connection, so I pulled the headlight, and saw nothing loose, and also took off the left side to see if there was any noticeable difference, but there was none. So, I put it all back together and now the left side is flashing, but the right fixed itself! I've pulled the left again to be sure I didn't do something, and everything looks fine. The kicker is that when I turn on the flashers, both signals blink (sequentially) normally, so I don't know what is going on.
The headlamp seller said I need to put in resistors, so I bought 2 ($5.50 total), but I am not sure which wires are for the lights, signals, or negative.
Has anyone experienced this and have a solution or can guide me about the wires?
