No parking lights, horn, or dash lights

Hello everyone. I guess I will start by saying that I have been visiting this site for years but never felt the need to join until today. I would come on and read up and study whenever there was something going wrong with my 07 XLT 3.0 Ranger. I felt the need to join after getting stumped for weeks and not finding a solution. I am NOT a mechanic but I know enough to get around. I replaced my heater coil, blower motor, and was able to diagnose and trace and replace a broken wire in my passenger door that kept the window from functioning. I am flat stumped here and would really appreciate any help the folks in this forum can provide. Money is tight!
Problem: I have no functional parking lights. Turn signals both work. Brake lights both works. Reverse lights both work. I also do not have a functional horn. Non of the lights in my dash cluster are working. Obviously, I am unable to drive at night.
What I have done so far: 1 I have ordered a new switch from Walmart (somehow they have them for $28.00 -perhaps a glitch? It won't be here until Friday of next week. I tested the inside fuses to make sure they all worked -I used a fuse tester where you put both prongs on the fuse and a little green light comes on telling you the fuse is good. I have checked out all of the relays and fuses under the hood also as I have read that it could be these as well. I do not own a multi-meter but might go buy one at harbor freight maybe tomorrow if someone might be able to walk me through testing the light switch and the dimmer switch to help me rule these out?

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
-Fred

Welcome to forum

In 2004 Rangers were switched from GEM model body computer to the SJB(smart junction box) Body computer, and used SJB thru 2011

SJB controls everything electrical in the cab, cab fuse box is part of the SJB

There have been issues with SJB connectors corroding(in all Fords) and this caused odd electrical issues, so I would start there

This article has pictures of the Ranger SJB and how to access it: https://www.therangerstation.com/tec...-modification/

You will need to remove the larger wire connectors and inspect each for signs of corrosion

Like this: https://guide-images.cdn.ifixit.com/...WCLms5m.medium

And this: https://guide-images.cdn.ifixit.com/...1MWKRYQ.medium

And this: https://i1.wp.com/sparkys-answers.co...0/DSC09929.jpg

Just needs some clean up to repair

The Parking light relay and horn relay are in the SJB, not serviceable parts, and the dash light dimmer control is powered by the Park Iight relay
So the only thing these have in common is the SJB

Thank you for the response. As mentioned in my post, I am not a mechanic, but am confident to take on most things not engine or transmission related. So I have to admit here I am embarrassed b/c I fixed the issue. I went over the fuses under the dash 3 different times. I must have missed #31, a 20A fuse that controls front park lamps, rear park lamps, license plate lamps, dimmer switch, & trailer tow park lamps. Talk about your all time DUH's. Wasted about 1-1/2 days going over wires and testing various switches. This Friday I will be the proud new owner of a brand new light switch which I wont use. -BTW, Walmart has FORD light switches for only $28.00 -model number checks out -said they only had 3 left after my order. Beats $150.00 from Rock Auto -which was the cheapest I had seen! Thanks again for offering the comment up to this forum Noob, RonD!
