ahh the A/C that thing makes it want to just die when I turn it on...it just struggles

so it is the a/c that makes the truck want to die not the foglights????? your a/c compressor is prolly about to lock up.........i would say you need a new compressor

I agree, since the regulator is integrated into the alt. it could be a bad reg. & thus the Alt. is dragging the engine down.

ah thanks...yea the fog lights aint a big deal its been doing that since I bought it...and about the A/C yea this summer its locked up and quict making cold air...so I had to bump the switch and cold air comes right back out....I'll take with my dad about this b/c we still got 2 more months of warm weather

this the thing I need?

My 94 Ranger had that problem & finally the A/C compressor finally froze up which the dealer replaced under warranty.

go get yourself a compressor off a newer wrecked ranger.....i belive all a/c compressors are the same from '95 and newer...it should be fine, install it and fill it up with new freon........i bet that fixes your a/c problem! doing it that way would be a heck of alot cheaper than buying a new one and having a shop replace it......

Don't forget to pull vacuum once you replace the compressor, not sure if your local auto parts store rents them or not.

dang that is such a good deal....I need to get mine checked out, along with the a/c compressor....

so yall are saying if I replace the A/C compressor it will give me a good idle back and run smoother?
