P0741 – Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Performance/Stuck Off

Truck Details:
2007 Ford Ranger 4WD – 3.0L V6
Transmission: 5R55E
Mileage: 146,xxx

Problem:
About 3 months ago, O/D OFF signal started flashing on the instrument cluster when my truck gets up to approximately 60 mph and continues flashing until I turn off the truck. If I’m only driving around town, the O/D OFF signal never comes on. My BlueDriver scan tool is showing code P0741 – Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Performance/Stuck Off

Last weekend, I replaced the TCC Solenoid, but that did not fix the problem. The same issue persists – when I get up to around 60MPH, the O/D OFF signal starts flashing again.

I tested the old TCC Solenoid with a Multimeter and the resistance is around 10 ohms, so it doesn’t appear that was the problem.

Any ideas to help me troubleshoot / fix the issue?

Thanks in advance.

I'm guessing it's trying to lock up the torque converter to help increase your mpg, but it cant for some reason or another. unfortunately I dont know much about automatic transmissions.
