2000 ranger movement issues

I have a 2000 ranger 2.5l.......was running fine put gas in it drove for around 45min then out of no where it don't want to move....peddle to the floor it just jerks for about 2mins then it will run fine once it his 30mph....like said it take about 2mins just to get it to slowly hit 30mph....will run perfect in reverse.....I have cleaned the injectors and pretty much replace everything fuel related.....now I'm just stumped....hook up code reader and get 17 codes....one person sad it was the cat (can't be because it's new) others said o2s (can't be they are new) I'm thinking trans now BUT the rpm don't go up at all when it's in drive and peddle to the floor....like they do if in park or neutral...anyways I am stumped any and all help would be nice TIA

Welcome to the forum

So 2000 2.5l with automatic transmission

It REVs OK in Park, good throttle response?
But not in gear

And does it idle OK in gear, doesn't struggle to stay running?

Just struggles to accelerate, like it might be starting off in 3rd gear instead of 1st gear?
Have you tried manually shifting to 1st gear instead of Drive?

And are any of the codes you got P07xx, transmission codes?

I forgot to add it bogs out and has a hard time staying running as soon as you put it into gear.....have tried the low to high still nothing on take off other then spitter spudded.....did get toque converted clutch electric code but that's the only tranny code I got....but when in park and N it runs like a top.....really wish I had a tac laying around since mine don't come with one.....but yeah that was the only tranny code the rest was all fuel and air related that have either been fixed or there wasn't anything wrong....I will also add I am using a maxiscan scanner that I got free from some website a few years back

Tries to stall when put into gear
That reads like torque converter problem, may be the TCC solenoid or the converter itself

And what trans code was it?
P0740 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Malfunction
P0741 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Performance or Stuck Off
P0742 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Stuck On
P0743 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Electrical
P0744 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Intermittent

Every sensor or control has several codes the computer can chose from

P0743 I'm hopping it's just the tcc and not the converter itself....after about 100 vid and fourms I'm thinking tcc.... once the weather clears up I'm dropping the pan and hooking up an ohm meter said it should read 20 to 30 if I remember correctly

You don't have to drop the pan

pull off connector and test OHMs between pins 1 and 5
