Pedal Assembly Play

Hello there, first post to the forums. I have an 89 Ranger 4x2 2.3 5spd that since I have bought a month ago and it has had play in both the clutch and brake pedal assembly. I haven't found any posts with something remotely close to this issue. Pushing either pedal pushes the other back with it. Looking up under I have found that the shaft that the pedal and clutch turn on has a bushing on the clutch side that appears to have worn causing a lot of play. I have 2 questions about this

1) How hard is it to change out and how do I go about it?
2)What is the name or part number of this bushing? Listings online are really vague.

Here is a photo with the bushing in question circled red. I'd like to get this fixed over the labor day weekend break from college as my ranger is daily driver.

Welcome to the forum

Never pulled this assembly on an 1989 Ranger so can't help with that

But here is an image of a 1989 assembly: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1989-90-For...ts=Make%3AFord
You can see the attachment points

Google: ford ranger clutch pedal bushing

Dorman may sell what you need, but not sure for 1989
