Power steering oil cooler question
Hello, need some help here. I have a 2003 ford ranger 2wd 3.0 and I have a major power steering leak. I have located the leak but cannot find the replacement part. Please see the pictures. The only part that looks similar comes off a 2006+ 4.0 ranger. The only thing I can figure is that back in 2006 i hit a dear and had major front end damage. Could they have switched parts?

The damaged part is the "fluid cooler" hose, it can come with or without "fins"
Part number for 2003 would be 1L5Z-3D746-AA
Example here: https://www.fordpartsgiant.com/parts...-3d746-aa.html
It looks like both ends connect to rubber hoses and use hose clamps so its on the Low Pressure side
So any tube that fits the diameter will work, you can use longer or shorted rubber hoses as needed
Ones with the fins would cool better, if there is room
