The remote for my 2010 stopped working. I thought it was the battery and changed it, but still didn't work so I bought another remote. I did what the instructions said to program, turned key 8 times from off to run and the locks went up and down and then I pushed the lock button on the remote and the locks went up and down again. I turned the key to off and took the key out of the ignition, they cycled one more time, hit the lock button on the remote....and nothing. What am I doing wrong? what else could it be?

 

Sorry, only thing I can think of since reprogramming responds correctly is that the RF(wireless) receiver is not working.

I think 2010 still uses RAP module(remote anti-theft) for keyless entry.
If you can find it, could under dash or behind the seat, try putting key fob near it and see if it responds, then you would know it is a broken antenna wire, if it still won't respond then a bad RAP module, the wireless part of the circuit.
