Removal of driver side spray nozzle-1999 Mazda B2500, 2.5L

I have a very weak washer spray, gurgling really, from driver side on my windshield. Passenger side is pretty strong though. I have already checked washer hoses and appear to be okay. My intention is to remove and clean out, or replace with a new part, the spray nozzle on driver side.

How do I go about safely removing the spray nozzle? In my model year, the nozzle is located on a metal cowling (and not on the hood). When I pop the hood, I can see a thick Black grommet type of hose that connects to the bottom of the spray nozzle but is behind the wiper motor. I looks like quite a challenge with very tight space.

Any ideas or suggestions are very much appreciated.
