Icon5 Gas Gauge Help!!!

:I went to fill my tank n it stop at a dollar fifty, so i kept pulling it but then it started to overflow (which sucked), but my gauge still says its half full what could this be? I drove home with the pedal to the floor n the gauge went down a little but stayed basically the same so what do u recomend i do to fix it?

Its possible the float is stuck.


You need to pull the bed and pop the top off the tank and check the float out. Check the sender out with an ohm meter. It should be the yellow/white and black with a range of 15-150 ohms.

Worst case is you need a new sender but it only comes as an assembly with the pump.
