First time changing the alternator and being a dummy I didn't note the exact position of the belt around the pulleys and it popped off to a point where I don't remember where it goes exactly. It is possible that everything is where it should be though, things are just a little loose, does it tighten itself if I start the engine? There is no diagram under the hood and my manual doesn't go into great detail.
