Thanks, I will make a trip to the salvage yard in hopes of finding a clean one, from your last post can I assume I can pull one out of a ranger from years 2000-2003? Do I need to pull one from a manual trans truck or will all work?

Manual and auto are probably the same for any given year because the transmission wiring goes over the top of the trans from the engine harness and doesn't pass through the connector you are having trouble with.
The transfer case wiring does go through that underseat connector, though, so there maybe additional wiring on one or both sides of the connector in a 4x4 truck.
Installed a used harness off a 2003 yesterday, had to hard wire a few of the wires as they did not match but everything works including the speedo. Thanks again for your help. Cost me $21.00 and about 8 hours of work but I'm sure I save a bundle.

What fuses did you replace?
Originally, the rear axle ABS sensor wires were part of the wire harness that goes forward along the driver side frame rail from the rear of the truck to a connector under the cab.
2000 ford ranger 2.5 manual 4x2
Hey gents buddy just bit a ranger everything works but dash lights odometer and speedometer abs and check engine lights on but the codes had nothing to do with it replaced speed sensor still nothing thinking it might be something to do with the plug under the driver seat but have no idea what it's called any ideas on why it won't work?
Location of fuse replacement
What fuse did you replace and where was it located?
