Steering Shaft CV?

Ok, I was installing my temp sensor the other day and I glanced down at the steering shaft and the CV boot on it is torn. How hard is it to take the shaft off? CV boots are easy, I did them on my old Honda. I just need to know how to take the shaft off and if it's too complicated should I just take it to a shop? Pictures would be great as well. Thanks!

I dont know if there is a replacement boot, but if there is you can remove the shaft by using a 13mm wrench down on the rack and one bolt up by the firewall. it clamps on down by the rack and bolts on at the firewall.

Thank you. I'll look around for the boot.
