not that hard just use a friend both lift it up and one holds it while the other bolts it up, that how me and my friend when we replaced the clutch in his 79 f150, and his trans. is cast iron, we never even bothered with the floor jack until we went to the heavy *** transfer case. i'm not sure which cross member it is but wither take it off or maybe find a way to work around it, there it is not very likely that you can do it your self, just call up a friend
