Can my automatic transmission range sensor keep from shifting into first even if i do it manually? 1st gear was there before i did my fluid and filter change. Now the scanner gave me a code for range sensor. Some help would be much appreciated 👍

No, DTR in 1995 and up Rangers, is used for Reverse lights and Starting in Park or Neutral would effect shifting unless its preventing shifter to move into all gear selections
