Truck won't turn over
I have a 2002 Ford Ranger Edge. The truck won't turn over if I don't unlock it via the remote, once I unlock it through the remote the truck turns over. Now my remote isn't working and I've changed the battery but it still doesn't work. HEELLPPP

Try reprogramming keyless entry fob

Basically turn key on and off 8 times, leave on the 8th time, door locks should cycle at that time(if locks don't cycle then yours may be different)
Then push Lock or Unlock button on the Fob you want to add, and door locks should respond
Turn key off
This was for 1998 and up Fords
Your Fob could be bad as well so may need to get another one
If you unlock the drivers door with the key that should allow engine to start.
So lock it then unlock it with the key
