I have a 2001 Ford Ranger Edge 4x4, 3.0l. The front drivers side turn signal was inop so I changed the bulb and it still does not work. Rear works fine. Checked for power at the bulb socket and no power. Shook/twisted/moved the harness and still nothing. All other signals work fine. Any other avenues to pursue?

 

I would look for the wire colors where they come in under the dash. Check for power there. If still no power, then follow them to their source. It is possible the multi-function switch is bad (turn signal / hazards switch in the steering column).
