turn signals

Hey everyone, I got a 93 ranger and the other night when I hit my turn signal it started blinking then as i applied the brake the turn signal stopped blinking and became solid. Just wondering is it a bulb out or a relay or a hazard switch. Also is there a way too read the check engine light without a reader. Thanks.

Most likely a bad bulb. Just to be safe , swap out all the rear bulbs, as they are probably getting due to fail anyway.
Also check if you have a trailer wiring harness hooked in.
Some times people make a mess of things trying to install them.
