That'll run you about $250 if you install it yourself. You can get a kit from ROSTRA and it comes with instructions. I don't think you'll need much when it comes to tools, just a wrench and socket set.

If your truck is equipped with the 10 pin connector by the washer bottle, you can install cruise control the correct way

Easy to add cruise control in 08 ranger ?

I have a 08 ford ranger with 4 cylinder and auto transmission and would like to add cruise control.I would like to know if all I need is a updated steering wheel with the c.c buttons.I heard that is all that is needed because in the 08 it is already set up for it to just add wheel and get dealership to flash it what ever that is ?

false...that would only apply to vehicles that are throttle by wire...look for the 10 pin connector under the washer bottle
