im running autolite plugs and have been for 25,000K, they are just fine.

did you replace the fuel filter yet? thats #1 spot to start. the truck is obviously struggling for something. air, fuel or spark. considering it runs, i doubt its spark or air, sounds like fuel from the first post.

so the shop the trucjk was at finally gave up cuz they could not figure it out. they tried a new coil and that didnt help, new plugs and that didnt help, then a new egr and that didnt help... then took it to ford and after another 160 bucks they found it was bad plug wires... so the shop that originally did my truck put crappy plugs and wires in the truck and new plugs and wire and $500 later i fixed there problem... not time to go after them.... any advice?

Bad plug wires

Sorry to hear it ook all that! It is a shame you can not go back after the dealer or compant that madethe wires. But as we all know anymore it is the luck of the draw getting parts that are faulty! I've done the same with starters, brakes and water pumps only thing there is you know it's not right by looking at them or as soon as you put them on usually. There should be something to repay us for the time or at least the labor it cost us. Glad you are up and running now.
