Will a 2001 alternator fit in a 2003 (4.0L)
Finally got around to installing it today. Other than the tensioner pully being a pain in the *** to move with the fan in the way, it went in pretty easy. And as an added bonus, it actually works! At idle with the AC compresson on, blower set for high, wipers on, high beams w/ 130 watt off-road lights, hazzard flashers, stereo, and 50 watt VHF radio transmitting, the gauge didn't budge and the lights didn't dim.
I happy.

personally if I was going to upgrade to a 130.. id just toss a 200 on there.
(most) 130s dont really put out that much more than stock at idle.

I got this thing for a whopping $60 on eBay. That's less than any reman'd alternator from a autoparts chain. The price was perfect for this thing. At the time, a 200 amp one would have been a lot more $$ so I went with this one.
