Icon2 Will this dome light work for a replacement?

My two bulb dome light: see pic: is kinda flaky... it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't... I think it's just the age and the contacts are all messed up.

Went on ebay and saw this.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-Ranger-...item2a14e51b9e

Problem is mine is a two bulb and this is a three bulb... Looks to be the same but would this work given the picture above?

2001 Ranger XLT.

Thanks,
-Nigel

Yes it will work. I did the same thing. I had one like that and i broke it, found a new one in the JY that had three bulbs and it fit right in.
Get the LEDS from Buggman. they turn your truck into day at night.

Yea I figured rather than buying a new dome light I'd just buy a new truck..lol

Will post pics this saturday of the new ranger :-)

Thanks for the pictures. I am going to say that everything on this new one is going to be functional.

Yea I figured since it needed a dome light it would be better to get hit by a car and total the thing...lol No seriously though, I was going through an intersection and got hit.. fortunatly no one was hurt but the truck that I had for all of 3 days was totaleled :-(

The new truck I am picking up saturday should be nice though... I'm super excited to have a ranger again.
