I have been having some trouble with my wipers, and before anybody says anything, yes i have tried a search but can find an answer to this particular problem. At seemingly random times my wipers wont work, i'll still be able to use my washers, but the wipers wont wipe it away, so what i then do is since I'm usually at some sort of decent speed and shouldn't stop, I'll turn the wipers on to the full speed position and within 30 seconds the wipers will then turn on. However, on my most recent encounter with this large inconvenience, the wipers did turn on after the i turned them onto full, but when i turned them down so much as 1 notch they would just stop right in the middle of the windshield right where they were when i moved the switch, then after fighting with this for approximately 10 seconds they then proceeded to work perfectly. This first happened to me quite some time ago as just what seemed like a one time glitch, but in the last 3 weeks it has become much more frequent, it has been several days since it last happened now, i believe sunday was the last time as of today being thursday. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

since the problem is intermittent, it could be a short, I would start by checking for loose wires around the wiper motor, or switch. The wiper motor could be just going out too.
