wire help

Im having a problem with my tranny, i just replaced all the clutch assembly on my 2000 3.0 ranger manual tranny. it was driving fine and then stopped within an hour. i had alot of air in the line which i bled. The only other problem i noticed was a cut sensor that i have no clue what its for. its towards the middle to tail shaft of the tranny. its a 2 prong plug that its red and attached in the tranny. could this be the problem? What sensor is this? Its in the same wire lume as the O2 sensors i believe but plugs into the tranny.

Well whatever it is, chances are it is somewhat necessary. I'd fix it and see what happens.

haha no crap, i found out its the backup lamp switch. But would that keep the tranny from going into gear while the truck is running? the truck shifts fine with the truck off

Remove and bench bleed the clutch master cylinder.Very difficult if not impossible to get all of the air out of it with the angle it's mounted in the truck.
