Wiring diagram for 1998 Ranger

Is the wiring diagram for a 1998 ranger 3.0L the same as a 1999 ranger 3.0L?

Welcome to the forum

It will be generally the same for all Rangers those years depending on options
But specifically no, there will be differences

Ford makes/releases an EVTM for every Model vehicle every year
EVTM = electric vacuum troubleshooting manual
These have the specific changes done for each model year and cover all options and engines for that model.

If you have a 1998 Ranger then a 1998 EVTM would have exact locations of connections and wiring
1997 or 1999 EVTM would not be specific to 1998 but there would be similarities of course.

EVTM was part of Ford Service Shop set of books it sends out to Dealers
EVTM is the most used book of the set so if you find a Shop manual set make sure it has EVTM with it, as it is also the one that is often NOT included, lol, techs hold on to theses
