wiring up new instrument panel....HELP

ok...so I got my new white face guages with the blue lights....Only problem is they came with a dimmer and on/off switch,...I was thinking I dont need that, and that i could just take the hot and ground wire and hook them up to the main bulb harness(if theres one).like I did for the climate control panel. that way its all the same on/off and dimmer..but what can I do to get rid of the switch? cut them out and just connect them right?

I got the exact same gauge faces in my ranger. If you wanted to eliminate the dimmer switch, you could try to wire the lights in with the headlight switch, so when you turn on the headlights, you would turn on the gauge lights too. I just kept the switch and put double sided tape it, and stuck it under my pass airbag switch. I'm thinking of ditching my gauge light switch too, but I would wire it in with the headlights.

Whatever you do, just be sure not to harm that little black box. That is what keeps the voltage for the lights in check.
