I'll try to get a complete cut list together at some point, probably once all of the wood work is done.

Locating pins for the "secret" compartment (not so secret now, I guess).

Held in place with rare earth magnets, locating pins keep everything lined-up.

Carpet installed. I made sure to mask the bedlined area to avoid getting the spray adhesive on it. Use 3M Super77, spray both surfaces liberally, then let tack-up for at least five minutes. Once glue has "set", slowly lay the carpet onto the box, smoothing it out as you go--I used a Bondo spreader for this. Work it into all of the corners and edges, then rough-trim the excess off wih a SHARP utility knife blade. Once the glue has dried for an hour or so, go back and carefully trim the edges with a sharp utility knife blade

I like how this looked on the old box, so I incorporated them onto this one. These are the original Ranger emblems that were removed when i put my '06 emblems on. They're held in place by the locating pins, which are pressed into a couple of blind holes-they fit really snugly.

For some reason, the color of the carpet looks kinda blue in these pics--probably my POS camera. This carpet doesn't match my interior as well as the old one did, but overall, I'm very happy with how this on turned out.

the only thing i would change is getting rid of the cup holder/ jack holder thing and rework it
however it would mean bye bye cup holders

Thanks guys-
It's 9:07 and Taylor is "Offline"--he'd better be putting in the box that I sent him since it was delivered at 11:40 this morning!
Gotta keep the jack cover thing, though; my jack's in there.
I'm going to keep my eyes open for some different carpet--the stuff that's on Taylor's matched my interior almost exactly.

i wonder what it would be like to make a half version of these. only reason i wonder is because i have a 12" woofer that would go on the floor on the drivers side

Build the woofer into the box--passenger side with the lid, driver side with the sub. Probably have enough enclosure size if you made the box a little taller (deeper) than mine. That would be pretty trick.

An excellent post and so well done! My jump seats are coming out. I cannot forgo seat travel (6'4"); but may try a bit higher, and relocate jack storage. I love the finish.
