03 headliner replacement

are there any options for a drop in headliner replacement? I’ve searched around the web and only found ready to go replacements for older trucks. I’ve tried to re-fabric a few in the past and they never turned out to my liking so I’m really looking for something that’s ready to go whether it be fabric covered or just molded ABS (which I would almost prefer)

So just looking at the pictures a 97 headliner (newest replacements I’ve found) look exactly like the 03 I have. Are they the same? Did the interiors change much, or at all, over those years?

I've looked all over with some pretty inventive searching techniques, too.

I finally gave up and started going to eBay and asking the sellers of engines for my year truck if they had the headliner to sell, too.

One did...same color, too

He did charge me 200 for the headliner and shipping, but I understand. That thing is so awkward to package and ship. He shipped it in a huge Samsung TV box and he took care in packing the thing with foam peanuts.

Maybe you can find some luck as I did?

I ended up having mine recovered by a local auto upholstery shop and he did a great job on it. It was cheaper to do that than any of the options I found online mostly because of the shipping cost. Color match is pretty damn close and not noticeable unless you really compare the sun visors to it.

I dont inderstand why why but it was a pain to get the headliner out of the truck, with the rest of the interior already removed to, but it slid right back in the drivers side door. Must have just gotten lucky
