2006 OHC upgrade

I want to add an OHC to my Ranger. I've seen a number of OHC threads, but so far, none have applied to the 2006 model. Can anyone tell me if the 2006 will accept the earlier explorer OHCs just like the earlier Rangers that all the threads are discussing. Guess there might be some differences in the wiring. Any help appreciated. Thanks. CJ

yeah it will fit in your 2006 ranger, I just did mine this week and it's a 2007 Ranger and didn't have any problems. I got the one with the garage opener on it, there's also the sunroof version of it, I would probably recomment the garage door opener one. The wiring has all the details on the link that rwenzing sent you, my 2007 Ranger had totally different wiring but I got it done and I love it.
