4x4 switch paint chipping

What do you think i should do with my 4x4 switch, I think it got burned with a smoke one day, plus its chipping.
What would look cool??
and how do you pull the switch off if you wanted to paint it or anything?

Maby just strip the paint off of it?? You can repaint the white mark if you still want that.

I think there may be some stainless or billet ***** on ebay. I know there are for the a/c and headlights so there should be one for the 4x4 also. The only problem is if I remember right they cost like $25, but maby you can find one for cheap.
