Black Interior ?'s

Do you know if ford even made a complete black interior? I wonder this because this summer im looking on changing my whole interior for the dull grey to a jet/low gloss black (preferably). If ford made black interiors I would just try to piece together a stock looking one. I think i'd almost be easier to paint it. just need some advice.

yes they do... some of the fx4's have all-black interiors. if you go the route of buying and replacing every interior panel with an oem black one, it'll run you a small fortune.

my entire interior is painted black, plus reupholstered black headliner and visors, and new black carpet. i used sem vinyl and fabric coating. it's been almost a year, and its still holding up perfectly, and still looks new. i just dust the dash every now and then, and use meguiars quick interior detailer (no residue to damage the painted surfaces) to clean it. if you decide to paint, use ONLY sem brand. i tried duplicolor, plastikote, etc, and none hold up as well as the sem.

below pic is of factory fx4 lvl II all black interior;

below link to the interior paint how-to i did awhile back ;o)

Are you referring to door panels and dash boards too?

Is so, I don't know if there is, my "black" interior has grey door panels and a grey dash.

My truck has a Black interior, with black and blue seats. It is a little harder to keep it clean though. The black shows every bit of dust in the truck:

Only interior pic I have:

Most 2002 FX4's are all black except for the seat inserts.

All 2003+ FX4 Level II's are all black except for the seat inserts (red or blue) and radio bezel (silver) and cluster face (silver).

2004+ Level II's with the leather option have all black leather buckets.

Black parts include carpet, floor mats, console, headliner, visors, dash, door panels, plastic trim, etc.
