Dash Swap 95 plus dash in a 94

Has anyone ever swapped to the newer style dash or seen any threads about it? i like my old dash but am really wanting the new style. i know the heater controls and things like that are different. would i need new door panels too? what else would i have to swap other than the dash?

thanks

Cam

Its a huge pain in the ***. I was going to swap a 94 dash into my 96. Nothing matches up The mounting points are different even. It sucks.

Nop, no pics yet. Tomorrow i will go to the body shop to see the progress, my friend fabricated custom brakets to fit it in, he took some pics of that brackets, also he made some mods to the AC ducts, an the HAVC sistem is from my 1994 with the 94 climate controls, all mounted into the ī04 dash, and the 4x4 button itīs located on the side oh the passanger airbag swith, 4x4 switch from my 94. i donīt know if i will need to use it, because iīm tiking of buying a manual Tcase. i will post pics of the progres, my friend said me it was a hard work. but itīs almost done. and after all that work still need to do some electronics.

for the wiring i was tinking about use some autometer gauges, like tach, speedo, gas and w tetmp. but i had a diagrams of the clusters (1994 and 2004) my friend says he can make the new one works. i hope so, because i dont want to spend more money buing gauges, and i love how the 04 cluster looks.
