Disable turn signal lever auto return?

Is there any way to modify/disable the turn signal levers auto return feature when you turn the wheel in the opposite direction? It just drives me insane and id much rather have the lever just stay where I put it until I decide to turn it off.

Yes, you too can be the old man in the fast lane driving at 50MPH with Left Turn signal on, lol

Remove multi-function switch(turn signal lever) from steering column
Push lever up or down and you will see a bar stick out from the steering column end, that's the "return" bar.
The steering wheel has several rods around its underside, the bar allows these rods to "click" passed the turn signal bar when turning in the direction of the "signal" but when turning the wheel back the first rod will grab the bar and pull turn signal level back to off.

Remove this bar and no return, and no more "clicks"

Same system has been used for 60+ years

If there is one "rod" that seems to click off the turn signal too fast then you can try removing it, never tried it myself but no reason it wouldn't work

Thanks a ton, Ill give it a shot tomorrow. Its never annoyed me on other vehicles but my ranger seems super sensitive. One tiny twitch of the wheel and the turn signal shuts off so I just want it gone!
