Recently my dome light wont come on at all? i checked the bulbs -- good. Now im puzzled.
Before it wouldnt come on when i opened the door, I had to turn it on.
And also my cargo light or whatever you call it doesnt work as well? Could there be a connection to both of them not working or just coincidence?

Have you checked your fuses?

Take a look at your fuse diagram (in your manual) and check for a blown fuse.

Also, there is a sensor in your door that might have gone bad. Im not sure about the cargo light though.

hahah i feel so dumb it was a fuse. what kind of LEDs can you put in the dome light to make it brighter?
and also do you now where i can find the sensor in the door?

 

buggman is the LED guru on here. run a search for "buggman LED" and you'll find what he has for sale.

 

Or he might even make something up custom if you ask him nicely… LoL.

Anybody know of where I can find the sensor in my doormso I can try and fix it. My lights still come on when I open the door. I have to turn them on.

no it turns on but it doesnt automatically come one when you open the door like its suppossed to.

 

No idea where the sensor is. I've never had to look for it, LOL.

btw, you should put your ride info on you signature to make it easy for others to help you.
