Icon5 A weird sound coming from my blower motor

Hey guys,

There's a weird sound coming from my blower motor. Everytime I turn the fan on it sounds like an old movie projector and it's pretty loud and annoying. It sounds like one of the fan blades is hitting an object but nothing fell in there. It really sucks because it stared doing this about a year ago when it was still under warranty and the problem went away. Now it has come back but it's 10 X louder.
Does this mean my blower motor is going out, and if so will I need to remove the whole dash to replace the thing?
btw ... It's a 2004 (I don't know if they changed the motor with everything else.)

Thanks in advance,

Brian

Open the glove box all the way and check to make sure nothing is in the HVAC box cause thats what it sounds like to me

Also Make sure nothing is in the glove box that could be causing it

Leaves in the air intake area, some get through to the fan.
IF it is really annoying pull the fan but that is a PITA (I have heard).

Run it on full or awhile and see if that helps.

If I need to replace the fan motor, can I do it without pulling the whole dash out?
