The main issue I have stems from an exterior issue so I apologize if I'm in the wrong forum here. Anyways, just about an hour ago after successfully getting the passenger rear door to open...I started ripping on the driver side rear door. I was very unsuccessful but now my dome light will not go out when closing any of the doors. I went around multiple times opening and closing but no luck. Is it possible I tweaked the driver side rear door while trying to force it open? The passenger side just took a little bump to get it to open so I don't think the issue is on that side. Please lend some advice if there is any to be given. Thanks!

 

Door jam switches have always been a common problem on the Rangers. More than likely it became misaligned or is no longer working.
