explorer digital heater controls?

My dad has an 03 sport-trac and he is wanting to put the digital heater control in from a ford explorer. We didnt pull his controls out yet to see how they are set up but does anyone know if it has to be modified or if it just plugs in?

Its a lot of wiring if you can even figure it out. I think its been done up to 2000 rangers but nothing newer due to wiring changes. its called an EATC (the older explorer ones)

The EATC mod has been done on several Rangers newer than 2000 including my 2003. I can't say that everything would be exactly the same for the 2003 Sport Trac but it should be a very similar conversion.
